DRY DOCKINGS & CONVERSIONS
Selection of drydock is important for docking your vessel either routine or non routine docking, or to carry out major repairs, conversions, etc., You have to plan docking if not you may in trouble of not receiving spares in time, may not be able to bring down specialist technicians who may arrive at the wrong time.
It is worth mentioning that poorly detailed repair specifications and failing to obtain prior quotations to prepare your budget is essential, if not you may fall into big trouble with delays and escalation of unexpected docking costs. Experience has shown that time and money is lost if incorrectly prepare vessels for dry docking. Tank cleaning, gas freeing and preparation of the vessel for docking is essential to avoid troubles.
